Meet Our Team

Lorie Rohde

Lorie has been in early childhood education since 1996 and has a Childhood Development Associate Credential. Lori has worked with all age groups throughout her career and has been at the Strongsville school since 2006 working as an assistant director for a few years before becoming the director. Lorie enjoys watching children learn and grow through their earliest years and values the active environment that comes with working with young children. She loves that there is always something new to look forward to each day!

Lorie lives in the Brunswick area and has three daughters, a granddaughter, and a family dog named Hope. One of Lorie’s favorite things to do is have dance parties with her children in her living room. Her favorite childhood book is Little Red Riding Hood because it reminds her of her grandmother, who used to read it to her as a child. We are grateful that Lorie is a part of our team!

Christie Stemplinski

Christie Stemplinski has been working in early childhood education since 2002 after having earned her Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education from Hiram College.

She is passionate about the growth and development of children and loves being able to witness many “a-ha moments!” She also loves that every single day is different and exciting!

Christie and her dog, Capone, live in Tremont, Ohio. Living close by are her parents in Parma Heights and her brother with his family in Berea. Her other brother lives in Los Angeles!

Christie moved to Ohio from Los Angeles, never having been and without a job! Christie has ended up staying and has made countless memories since.

Christie has two favorite childhood books: Charlotte’s Web and Oh, the Places you’ll go! Charlotte’s Web was her first ever chapter book to read completely on her own. She then went on to read this same book to her school-age classes while she was a teacher.

Oh, the Places You’ll Go! is a story she still loves to read to this day. She also loves to give this book as a gift to others! Christie believes reading about being a dreamer, a discoverer, an explorer will help you become inspired to become a dreamer, a discoverer, and explorer yourself!

We love having Christie on our team!
