Elizabeth (Liz) has been in early childhood education since 2013. Liz has a Childhood Development Associate Credential and is currently working on her bachelor’s in organizational leadership. Liz started out as a floater and has served in multiple teacher and administrative positions before joining The Nest Schools as a director. Liz became involved in the early childhood education field after having two children of her own because she wanted to learn more about what they did all day. Liz is passionate about making a difference in the lives of both children and their families and is also an advocate for Trauma Informed Care in the early childhood setting.
Liz stays very active with her two twin boys, and in her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her many siblings. She is also a football fanatic and a cheerleading coach! Liz’s favorite childhood book is The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe because it was the first book that really made her think about more than just the words on the paper. The symbolism made her fall in love with reading and introduced her to a new genre she previously shied away from.
