Meet Our Team

Linda Garcia

Linda has been in the early childcare industry since 1995. She has had her Director’s Certificate since 2011 and earned her Associates in Psychology.

In 1995, she opened her home to become a licensed facility in the state of Texas. As her business and family grew, she knew that she had found her calling: to be able to provide a service to families who are looking for a safe and nurturing environment for their children.

She continued to pursue early childhood education after experiencing the milestones between a teacher and a young child during their most fundamental periods of life. She has had the pleasure of teaching infants through preschool and has cherished every giggle along the way. Linda has dedicated herself to making a personal connection with each child and believes communication with families is key to The Nest’s success.

Linda has four children; three girls and one boy. Family time is truly her happy place. Her family makes it a priority to dedicate one weekend a month to making memories together. She spends extra time either outdoors walking in her local parks or educating herself and others on how to improve the lives of Type1 Diabetics.

A little fun fact is that Linda is a skincare enthusiast with “more products than she could realistically ever use” and she has a closet full of shoes. However, Linda would much rather explore the planet barefoot.

Her favorite childhood book is “The Kissing Hand” by Penn Audrey. She loves the concept of a mother who wants nothing more in this world than to give her children the reassurance; that no matter where they are in this world, they will always have a part of her with them in the palm of their hand.
