Meet Our Team

Ashleigh Kropp

Ashleigh has been working with children for the last 10 years as a music teacher. Having graduated from Cleveland State University with a degree in Nonprofit Administration, Ashleigh has found early education to be the most rewarding career. She loves that children absorb so much information in the early years of their lives and to be a part of their foundations is always a blessing to her!

She is the oldest of 5 children and looks forward to having a big family of her own one day. Throughout her life, she has learned to play many different instruments, however, the most interesting instrument she has learned (in her opinion) is the mountain dulcimer!

Ashleigh’s favorite childhood book was Rainbow Fish, it always taught her that you can create friendships by sharing and being an individual person. We love having Ashleigh on our team.

Lisa Chorba

Lisa has worked in early childcare since 2012. She went to Culinary School and is currently working towards her Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education. She started a career in childcare when she started her own family and immediately fell in love with it. Lisa loves how children are so innocent and funny. Life is truly boring without kids!

Lisa is that she is a mother of 3. Her husband is a Sgt. for Cleveland police, and she really enjoys exploring new Metroparks and hiking whenever she can. A fun fact about Lisa is that she is a runner and averages 3 miles a day (give or take a day off)!

Lisa’s favorite children’s book series is “Elephant & Piggie.” because it teaches young children many different life skills and is still funny. We adore having Lisa on our team!

Christie Stemplinksi

Christie Stemplinski has been working in early childhood education since 2002 after having earned her Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education from Hiram College.

She is passionate about the growth and development of children and loves being able to witness many “a-ha moments!” She also loves that every single day is different and exciting!

Christie and her dog, Capone, live in Tremont, Ohio. Living close by are her parents in Parma Heights and her brother with his family in Berea. Her other brother lives in Los Angeles!

Christie moved to Ohio from Los Angeles, never having been and without a job! Christie has ended up staying and has made countless memories since.

Christie has two favorite childhood books: Charlotte’s Web and Oh, the Places you’ll go! Charlotte’s Web was her first ever chapter book to read completely on her own. She then went on to read this same book to her school-age classes while she was a teacher.

Oh, the Places You’ll Go! is a story she still loves to read to this day. She also loves to give this book as a gift to others! Christie believes reading about being a dreamer, a discoverer, an explorer will help you become inspired to become a dreamer, a discoverer, and explorer yourself!

We love having Christie on our team!
