Amy Swinderman

Amy has been in early childhood education since 2014 and has a master’s degree in education specializing in curriculum and instruction. Amy served in many roles throughout her career, including working as a preschool and pre-k teacher and a director before joining The Nest Schools. Growing up, Amy fell in love with learning and was always eager to learn as much she could. She always knew she wanted to be a teacher to share her love of learning with others and make a difference in the most impressionable years of children’s lives.

Amy lives with her husband and two sons and loves classic old movies. Her favorite childhood book is Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. She loves this book and others in the series because it’s also about family and friendship, even though there is a magical element. One of her fondest childhood memories is going to the midnight sales to pick up books with her grandmother and then going home to read the rest of the day.

Cora Bogdan

Cora has been in early childhood education since 2002 and has bachelor’s degree in early elementary. Cora worked with almost every age group from infants to school age before becoming a regional director in 2011. Cora found a love for childcare when she first became an infant teacher many years ago. As the regional director of the Cleveland area Nest Schools, Cora enjoys working with directors and teachers to help ensure that they provide the best care possible for the families they serve.

Cora lives in Cleveland with her husband and two children and enjoys gardening, cooking, and baking in her free time. Her favorite childhood book is The Little House on the Prairie because she read it to her children when they were growing up, and it is now a favorite of her daughters.
